There is no time like the present to get fit and create a new and healthier you with an end goal in sight. Everyone seems busy with no time for self attention. But lets take a look at the meaning of the word busy. There are 24 hours in a day and even though we think we need more hours in the day to fit everything in, we don’t. What does being busy mean? Lets break 24 hours down. Lets say you work 8 hours a day, add travel time that’s 10 hours in the day. Hopefully you are getting at least 7 hours of sleep which equals 17 hours in the day. You still have 7 hours left of your day. If you are organized with meal prep, household chores, kids homework, sports and family time. You still should be able to manage 2 hours per week for a new body and mindset. Remember you don’t need a full hour of exercise if you are doing the right exercise. PILATES SAVES TIME! 20-30 minutes a day doing squats, lunges and Pilates mat moves WILL CHANGE YOUR BODY. You will feel AMAZING! It might mean shifting to a better use of your time. How about a brisk walk at lunch. If you have a gym at work even better, USE IT! Or it might mean getting up 15 minutes earlier to do a core Pilates mat workout on your bedroom floor. If you are someone who needs motivation, join a fitness studio that is on your way home and all you have to do is pull into the parking lot, get out of your car and walk into class. Convenience is key. You can even watch your favorite TV program on a treadmill or from the mat doing floor exercises. Call it multi-tasking if you like (there is no such thing) but you can squeeze movement and an exercise routine daily that can make a big difference in your health and overall wellness. JUST DO SOMETHING!
