Meet The Owner

Judy Lynch-Hudson Owner/Director

Judy is a graduate of Fisher College, Boston, MA. She earned a Physical Therapy Assistant degree in 1997. A board certified therapist both in MA and AZ, she specialized in outpatient orthopedic injuries for over a decade successfully integrating Pilates based exercises as a corrective treatment option for back, neck and pelvic injuries with profound results. In addition, Judy is certified in the John Barnes Myofascial Release Technique, a manual theraputic treatment approach to pain.

After being exposed to the true work of Joseph Pilates with first generation teacher and Pilates elder Mary Bowen, Judy continued her Pilates training and certification with the internationally recognized Peak Pilates training center in Boulder, CO.  Judy believes to become a great teacher of Pilates you must be an even better Pilates student. Judy  studies with second and third generation teachers and takes workshops with the Taylor sisters Amy and Rachael at The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO.

A well known trainer in the local fitness arena, she has held AFAA fitness certifications while teaching aerobics, step and kickboxing classes for over 25 years. After a debilitating back injury from a car accident coupled with poor training habits, Judy discovered Pilates amazing healing benefits and soon got her life back without pain. She opened the Easton Pilates Studio in 2004 so she could share her skills and help others regain their life back.  Judy studied voice and movement at the Boston Conservatory of Music and likens the discipline of Pilates training to the rigorous training she had at the Conservatory.  Pilates teaches awareness and connects us to a higher level of consciousness were change can only happen. Without awareness there can be no change. When she is not teaching Judy loves to sing. She studies opera singing and performing. She enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking and sailing with her 1st mate chocolate lab Bubba.

Our Studio Mascot

Our 11 year old beloved chocolate lab Bubba enjoys greeting the students when they arrive and watching the ladies at the barre working out! A well known ladies man, Bubba does an awesome down-dog showing off his incredible supple spine. We all can learn from him. When Bubba is not at the studio he enjoys eating, hiking and kayaking.
