Studio Policy and Etiquette |
- A signed health form and liability waiver is required.
- Classes are scheduled monthly in advance and prepaid.
- Beginners must take privates or introductory classes.
- Limit 3-6 people in each class on a first come sign up basis.
- Fees are based on number of people in the class.
- When possible please be mindful of the 24 hour cancellation policy.
- Cancellations: you may miss or makeup 2 classes per month. All other cancels a class fee will apply.
- Unused classes may not be carried over and expire after 90 days.
- Classes are non-refundable, non-transferable.
- Vacation breaks must be scheduled with advance notice.
- Return from injury or lengthy illness with MD note only.
- Arrive a few minutes early to prepare for your Pilates class. Breathe deeply and focus on the class.
- Turn off cell phones/pagers to limit distraction.
- Pull hair back and up off face to avoid distraction and getting it caught in the springs. Avoid heavy perfumes and creams.
- Clothing should be non-binding. Avoid oversized tops so instructor can view your spine. Baggy shorts should have leggings underneath for privacy. Clean socks or bare feet required. Socks with sole grips are best. No nylons allowed.
- After each class please wipe down all apparatus and set up for next class.
- Inclement weather: Generally, when schools cancel there will be no AM classes. For PM class cancellations call studio 1 hour prior to class for a recorded class cancellation.
